My Story.
I co-founded Rokt because I could see a problem worth solving. After years wrestling with it at Jetstar, I couldn't stop seeing it. The Transaction Moment (the window when a consumer is actively completing a purchase) is one of the most overlooked opportunities in commerce. The technology to do better existed. The will to build it was the gap.
I'm a builder. My passion is to build things that matter, take on hard problems, and push into territory that hasn't been mapped yet. We talk about Builder DNA at Rokt: a culture that prizes speed, resilience, and the willingness to bet on what you believe in. The principle we run on is fear irrelevance more than failure. Not as a slogan, but as a genuine operating philosophy: in a business built on moving fast, the real risk is standing still.
All of that gets its proper perspective from my daughter Sophie. She has given me something no business achievement could: a clear sense of what actually matters. Her medical journey taught me compassion in a way nothing else has. It put every professional challenge in its proper place and pointed me toward something bigger. She is my guiding star.
I believe, genuinely, that everyone deserves a fair chance at making something great. That belief shapes how I build companies, how I lead teams, and what I choose to work on. It's the through line.
Giving back has always been personal for Bruce. That belief, shaped by his own background and reinforced through raising a family, is that the people who build successful companies have a responsibility to create opportunities for others. Not just through financial donations, but through time, connectivity, and expertise.
Build Forward is Rokt's formalization of that commitment. The initiative unifies the company's existing community work under a single foundation, backed by a pledge of 1% of Rokt's equity, approved by the board and shareholders. The name was chosen deliberately: it reflects the same builder instinct that drives the business, applied to the communities where Rokt operates.
Rokt has also partnered with Pledge, a leading charitable fundraising platform, to give Rokt's partners the ability to offer customers a donation option at the moment of purchase, turning everyday transactions into opportunities to support causes that matter.
